The Dorethea Debutante Dress by Tania Olsen Designs is an A-line gown featuring a deep sweetheart neckline adorned with lace appliqué that wraps around the bodice and softly blends into the skirt at the natural waistline. The floor-length skirt includes a glitter tulle overlay for a touch of sparkle, while a thigh-high split adds movement and a modern finish.
Spaghetti straps and a lace-up back provide an adjustable fit, complemented by an invisible zipper on the skirt for a clean look. Crafted from lace appliqué and glitter tulle and fully lined, the Dorethea Debutante Dress offers refined detail and timeless elegance.

Shipping Internationally:
We use Sendle to deliver International. You will be able to track your item through the link provided.
Delivery zones / time frame
Zone 1 - New Zealand (4-11 working days)
Zone 2 - Asia Pacific (5-28 working days)
Zone 3 - North America (10-24 working days)
Zone 4 - Western Europe (5-19 working days)
Zone 5 - Rest of the world (12-30 working days)
Due to the cancellation of many international flights and country-specific restrictions, overseas transit times may be delayed.
Prices do not include any relevant overseas customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees. This is the responsibility of the customer, as ElissaJay Boutique is not responsible for any customs charges or fees imposed on your order.
If one of our products is marked as a Made To Order, this means it's currently not in stock with us, but it can be ordered for you.
All Pre-Orders require full payment at the time of order. Only items marked as "Made To Order" beside the name or size option can be Pre-Ordered with us.

Order Process
Once your order is placed with the manufacturer, no alterations, changes, or cancellations can be made.
ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival)
The designer provides an estimated delivery timeframe. Please note this is a guide only and may change due to production or shipping delays.
Fabric
If additional fabric is required, it must be ordered at the same time as your gown/s. Pricing depends on fabric type and quantity. If fabric is needed before your gown/s arrive, a rush fee applies: $45 for Nicoletta and $50 for Tania Olsen.
Rush Fee
Gown/s with a rush fee incur a fee of $45 per dress for Nicoletta and $50 per dress for Tania Olsen. This will not be refunded if there are delays with production or shipping.
Dye Lot Variation
For group orders, gowns will be made from the same fabric roll where possible to ensure consistent colour.
A colour variation of up to 5% is standard and acceptable. Slight differences may occur when comparing swatches or samples.
The lining may vary slightly from the outer fabric, selected to best complement the gown’s appearance.
Alterations
ElissaJay does not provide alteration services. Gowns are made to a standard size chart and may require tailoring at the customer’s expense.
Sizing & Fit
If a new gown/s is needed due to sizing changes, pregnancy, or other personal reasons, a new order must be placed at full cost.
Custom Orders – Cancellations & Returns
Gown/s made to order (custom styles, sizes, or colours not typically offered, or out-of-stock options) are made just for you. They cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded due to change of mind, incorrect size, event cancellations, or personal circumstances.
Change of Mind (Non-Custom Orders)
For non-custom, full-priced items, ElissaJay offers exchanges or credit notes only — no refunds — for change of mind requests. Items must be returned within 7 days of receipt, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags and packaging intact. Sale items are final sale and are not eligible for exchange or credit. Return postage costs for change of mind returns are the customer’s responsibility.
Sale Gowns
Sale items and/or marked down items are final sale, no returns unless the item is deemed faulty.
Consumer Rights: Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if the item is:
- Faulty
- Not as described
- Not fit for purpose
Minor Fault Examples:
- Small tears or stitching issues that don’t affect the gown’s structure or appearance.
- Easily fixable zip faults.
- Slight colour variations (up to 5%) from samples/swatches.
- Minor fabric texture irregularities.
Major Fault Examples:
- Large, irreparable tears or damage.
- Incorrect colour/style due to manufacturing error.
- Gown/s made in the wrong size despite accurate customer measurements
- Severe defects making the gown unwearable.
Fault Claims:
Faults must be reported within 5 business days of receiving the gown/s. Claims beyond this window may not be accepted. All faulty claims must be returned in-store and will be reviewed by the designer to approve if a fault exists and determine the appropriate remedy.
Return Postage
You are required to cover the cost of your dress(es) returns. Any Rush fees and postage fees upon exchange or refund are non-refundable.
