SHOPPING ADVICE

Proper Undergarments.

While shape wear and the perfect bra aren’t totally necessary, feeling and looking your best will ultimately help you feel more confident to find the dress of your dreams.

Bring along or wear a supportive nude strapless bra, seamless nude underwear as well as any shape wear you’d like to wear under your dress. There are plenty of shape wear options out there. You’re also more than welcome to forgo a bra if you don’t plan to wear one on with your dress, most dresses have the structure to support you without one.

Hair Tie.

Trying on dresses can be hot business! Keep yourself comfortable by tying your hair up.

If you plan on wearing your hair up with your dress,  this is a great way to envision the end look.

Who to Bring

If you can bring along a few close family members or friends to help you decide. Keep in mind though that less is definitely more—too many opinions from eager family members and friends can ultimately make your decision tougher. Always remember, this is your dress, you are the only one wearing it.

Budget

Have an idea on how much you would like to spend on a dress. Don’t forget, we offer a lay-by service and after pay online to help with your purchase.

Forget About Size.

No two designer size charts are created equal. If you're a size 6 in the ready-to-wear world, for example, you could be anything from a 2 to a 12. It can be jarring to see a larger number on the tag than you're used to, but resist the urge to get a smaller size. Taking in a gown is easy; letting it out is difficult.

Don't Be Afraid to Say "Yes" to Your Dream Dress Right Away

It may take you by surprise if you find the right dress quickly, but that's just how it works, when you know, you know. Of course, buying a dress is a big decision, but if you start shopping be ready to purchase.
